Hello!

Shawn is a sophomore from Chicago, IL at Harvard College, where he studies Applied Mathematics with a focus in Physics. His interests lie at the intersection of STEM (especially math, physics, and data science), languages and cultures, and sustainability. Outside the classroom, he is the Co-President of Harvard Undergraduate Plant Based (HUPB) and the Longevity Co-Team Lead of the Harvard Climate Coalition. Additionally, he is an Outside Hitter on the Harvard Men's Club Volleyball team, where he also serves as the Treasurer. Shawn spent the summer of 2023 in Beijing, where he worked as an assistant researcher at the Tsinghua University Institute for Carbon Neutrality (ICON). His research focused on wind power life-cycle carbon emissions across China and battery swapping stations in Beijing.
