Food 4 Thought
Reimagining the food system through student-driven innovation and collaboration.
The Challenge
We have reached a critical juncture with our planetary boundaries.
The global demand for meat is rising much faster than our ability to sustainably feed the planet’s growing population. We unite students, academic experts, and professionals to create sustainable solutions based on our key values:

Our Approach
As students, we are building a hub across universities and disciplines to address 3 critical challenges in the food systems field:

The Silo Problem
Students in specific programs work in silos. They are unaware of opportunities to integrate their skills into the future food ecosystem.

The Crosstalk Problem
Students at different universities rarely have the opportunity to connect and collaborate on projects to advance food systems initiatives.

The Inactivity Problem
Students are not actively engaged with food systems issues, because they feel powerless when faced with intractable problems.
